Amitabah House is a brand new luxury villa, located in Lower Bay. This fabulous Mustique style property is close to the beach, bars and restaurants, and yet situated perfectly enabling guests to still enjoy a calm and serene sense of privacy. The views, in particular from the pool, are breathtaking, overlooking Lower Bay and reaching out across the turquoise shades of the Caribbean Sea.

"Infinite Light"
Meaning "infinite light", Amitabah really is special. This expansive property holds the perfect balance - it has all the qualities and appeal of a Mustique villa, whilst also having the vibe and energy of beautiful Bequia. Another wonderful feature is the unique atmosphere - there is a Buddha statue in the centre of the house, and the whole villa is beautifully designed.

Amitabah has a gym, tennis court complete with night lights, and a soccer game, not to mention the 50 foot long infinity pool. There are iPod stations, two gazebos, a pool table and flat screen TV. Further luxuries include complimentary maid service, and there is the option to have dinner served daily during your stay. Also, there are butler services available if required, to allow guests to relax in total luxury without having to lift a finger.

Dining area
The villa has a lovely, large dining room, with doors that allow you to look out at the property's views as you dine. The room, in keeping with the rest of Amitabah House, is fabulously furnished with a huge wooden table and comfortable chairs. This is an ideal place to enjoy your meals, especially with the cool sea breeze traveling in from outside.

6 lovely bedrooms
Amitabah House has 6 bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms that have a shower and WC. All bedrooms also have AC and lovely, comfortable beds. The master bedroom is slightly different - the en suite bathroom has a bath tub, and the added luxury of a flat screen TV with cable and DVD player. An inflatable matress is also available upon request.

Beautiful pool and outside area
The infinity pool at this brand new luxury Bequia villa just might be the best on the island! It is a great size, and enjoys really fantastic views. The pool side area is also a lovely, relaxing space, along with the barbecue and bar. Guests also have the option to chill out in the two gazebos. After an afternoon spent soaking up the sunshine, why not move on to the TV room, which has a 50 inch flat screen TV, and watch a movie. Amitabah House also boasts the luxury of being the only villa on the island to have a private tennis court, complete with nightime lights.

House Notes.

Dear Guests,
Welcome to Amitabah house! We hope that you will find our house a peaceful place where you can relax and enjoy the Caribbean life.
We have some wonderful people in the staff that will be happy to help you;
Please order what you need 48 hours in advance if you need a dinner chef, please talk to the Agent.
MAHALIA – is the breakfast chef and the maid. She will cook you breakfast and lunch if you want to. She will clean the house and make the beds. When needed she can also do laundry.
JERRY – will take care of the pool and the garden. He will help you with the facilities and fix drinks.
There are a few things you need to know about the house and some regulations that we ask you to consider;
House current is 220Volt
House phone is only for incoming calls # 457 3445, most cells work fine here
Though we like to see Bequia as a very safe island we have an intruder alarm that is connected to Detection center.
House has one safety box in Master bedroom, code you will get from the agent.
TVs DVD and some of the music modules are on 110 V, please check if you want to change locations of set.
The gym facilities; Please ask Jerry for instructions. No children are allowed without supervision.
Pool table may be used by adults and by children under supervision.
Mountain bikes; if you want to use the bikes, please check bolts and brakes before going on a ride, by law a helmet is required
Sun chairs at pool side, please use a towel.
The nearest beach is Lower Bay, just a hundred meters down the hill. It´s one of the islands best with lovely sand and good swimming. Salads and sandwiches are served at The Reef which is just on the beach. Staff will provide you with a straw mat and a beach towel.
For you who rent Amitabah, four sun chairs are booked and prepaid for your entire visit, they are next to the reef. Just tell the sun chair owner Syl that you are from Amitabah house. The chairs are a courtesy from Amitabah.
Princess Margaret Beach is the next, direction north. There you can have both lunch and dinner at Jacks Bar. Food is great there! They also have beach parties and cool reggae and/or Jazz bands playing in the bar. Other nice Beaches you will find are Adams Bay, Friendship Bay, Spring, Industry and Hope Beach, the latter of which can be rough.
When coming back from the beach - please rinse your feet from sand with water on the grass at the entrance.
Water - All water is collected rain water or bought, it is a very limited resource on the island. Please don´t leave taps pouring and try to limit time in the shower.
Air Conditioning - All bedrooms are provided with a fan and air conditioning. Please don´t leave AC on when you´re not in the room.
Tennis court; Ask Jerry for rackets and balls. He will show you how to light the court. There are also basketballs. Please ask Jerry to collect any balls that end up outside the court, only shoes with white soles, please
Internet - There is a wireless internet in the house, but it can be reached only in bar area and dining room.
Pool - the water in the pool has no chlorine, only a small amount of salt. It´s very fresh and not heated. There is some gear for children and mattresses to lie on. They break quite easy if you play too rough with them.

Bequia in short
To drive a car you need a local driving license, it is really a tax. Grenadine Island Villas can assist with this simple process.
If you have a car accident and don´t have a local license, you are not protected by insurance.
A good guide to what´s up is the weekly free paper ¨Bequia this week¨, you will find it at Restaurants and shops
Dining out
Our favorite places are for lunch;
The Reef just downhill from the house, simple but good.
Higher end beach front lunches you will find at Mosquito Bar at Friendship Bay Hotel, Jack´s bar at Princess Margret’s and Bagatelle at Bequia Beach Hotel - Friendship bay. Jack´s have often live bands in the afternoon. A shady place would be Firefly Hotel at Spring
For Dinner; Devils Table, Mosquito and Jack´s Bar. L´ Auberge. Bagatelle. Mac´s Pizzeria, great Pizzas even Mick Jagger bother to get his Pizza travelling all the way from Mustique, a must while on the Island is Fernando’s Hideaway it is close to the house and has fresh fish every day caught by the Chef.
